Essie Sugar Daddy

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the beautiful shade Essie Sugar Daddy (that name though) - one of the polishes I recently won.
Sugar Daddy is a sheer pink.

The formula is great and it is easy to apply and control (unlike most sheer shades like this one).
For the picture below I used two to three coats.

I love these barely there shades - they are perfect for french manicures!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of CND Cream Puff on all my nails. Afterwards I applied the poppy water decals following this tutorial.

Glitter Gradient

Hey guys!

Today I have a simple glitter gradient to share with you! It has been forever since I made one, but after I got my ÜNT Ready for Takeoff Peel Off base coat I have been using glitter more often!

For the manicure I started off with a light nude base of Barry M Coconut on all my nails. Afterwards I applied the gold glitter Essie Rock at the Top in a gradient effect.

I love a simple glitter gradient - so classy!

Toucans

Hey guys!

Yesterday my boyfriend and I went to Copenhagen Zoo as part of my birthday present and we saw lots and lots of beautiful animals.
I was inspired by the toucans to make this mani!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of CND Cream Puff on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the toucans on my middle and ring finger with MoYou London Tropical Plate 06 and Mundo de Uñas Black stamping polish. Then I filled in the beaks with OPI Primarily Yellow and OPI Chromatic Orange. To finish everything off I applied the orange glitter Formula X Firecracker to my pinky in a gradient design.

I think these turned out awesome!

Orange is the New Black

Hey guys!

I have already binge-watched the entire fourth season of Orange is the New Black and in episode 7 Aleida Diaz wore a beautiful french manicure with a vampy purple base and gold tips - and I just had to recreate it!

For the manicure I started off with a dark purple base of Max Factor Amethyst on all my nails. Afterwards I used the gold polish Essie Good as Gold to freehand the french tips.

And here is my inspiration (like Aleida I always do my own nails).

I love finding inspiration in weird places like this!

Moroccan

Hey guys!

Today I have some moroccan nail art inspired by Sprinkle Nails to share with you.

For the manicure I started off with a pale pink base of OPI Mod About You on all my nails except for my pinky which I painted with the gold holographic glitter F.U.N Lacquer Million Dollar Dream. Afterwards I used a moroccan nail stencil from Snail Vinyls and F.U.N Lacquer Million Dollar Dream to make the moroccan accent nail on my ring finger.

I ordered a big bunch of nail vinyls so this will be the first of many designs featuring them!

Negative Space

Hey guys!

Today I have some negative space nail art to share with you featuring the beautiful Essie Loot the Booty from the new Essie Summer 2016 collection!
Loot the Booty is a deep blue with iridescent flakes in purple and aqua blue.

For the manicure I started off by applying single chevron nail vinyls to my naked nails. Afterwards I applied Essie Loot the Booty on top of it and peeled the nail vinyls off to reveal the negative space design underneath.

Essie Loot the Booty is amazing and I love how this manicure turned out!

Essie All Hands on Deck

Hey guys!

My exam is finally over and I have a swatch of the beautiful new Essie shade: All Hands on Deck from the Shimmer Brights collection.
All Hands on Deck is a green shimmer.

The formula is great and it is easy to apply - it is a little on the thicker side, but that just makes it easier to handle. The opacity is good too and it is opaque in two thin coats.
The wear is AMAZING on this one - I had it on for four days, there was not a single chip and only minimal tip wear.

This shade is so beautiful!
